This classic pocket knife is firmly associated with the Boker name.
The extremely stable body, made from a piece of nickel silver, is sintered and then polished. During sintering, the starting materials are mixed, bonded together by heating and given the desired shape. The hollow-ground blade made of stainless N690 is forged by Böhler and with its memorable shape contributes to the incomparable appearance of the Scout. A classic backlock takes over the locking and keeps the blade securely open.
The mechanism hidden inside the handle consists of a rocker bolt and a spring. When the blade is folded out, the rocker bolt engages in a recess in the blade, locking it in place. The rear end of the bolt seesaw is not completely covered by the grip but is partially exposed at the spine of the grip so that it can be actuated. If the exposed rear end of the bolt rocker is now pressed, the hook lifts out of the notch, so that the lock is released and the blade can be folded. The pleasantly shaped handle scales made of warm, certified imported thuja wood complete the harmonious picture of the classic.
