In a spectacular action for Böker, Norwegian divers recovered parts of the armor of the German battleship Tirpitz. The steel parts were in surprisingly good condition thanks to the cold and pressure. The mighty blade made of 300-layer Damascus with the "Great Pyramid" pattern was forged from these well-preserved steel parts. Boker made an extremely durable blade with a hardness of 61HRC from the combination of Tirpitz steel and carbon tool steel. The blade bounces very powerfully and without play. An attractive hard-coat anodized handle made of high-strength light metal gives the knife a very good feel in addition to a beautiful design. Grip inlay made of selected, local walnut wood with the original coat of arms of the battleship. With a functional, adjustable belt clip (tip-up/tip-down). Hardcoat-anodised handle made of high-strength light alloy. With adjustable belt clip (tip-up/tip-down). With consecutive serial number and collector's box with certificate. A very special piece that makes history tangible. The thumb studs are screwed.
